“Due to the fantastic countryside location of the manor and with the garden on site I can’t wait to get started exploring what Harju County has to offer. The team here share my enthusiasm and passion to experiment and create new unique dishes that represent the beauty of the Manor.”

In Kau Manor’s vaulted cellar, which is in the oldest part of the Manor, hides the restaurant 8 Legs’ Wine Cellar. When this historical vaulted space, that estimably dates back to the 13th century, was used in creating the Wine Cellar, wine racks were made out of the old wood found from the Manor.
The Wine Cellar boasts an exclusive wine selection. The wine list is the perfect complement to restaurant’s menu and is similarly to restaurant’s seasonal menu always changing.
A cavernous gothic lounge next to the Wine Cellar is an ideal space for intimate gatherings and private functions for groups up to 20 guests. Our catering and event staff can assist in coordinating conferences, seminars, meetings, or just special dinners among friends. In the Cellar, guests can also enjoy tasting events among charcuterie prepared by our Chef.

Book our Cellar for a private wine tasting or a full menu event beneath the time-honored beauty of 13th century vaulted ceilings.
