Adam Johann Ritter von Krusenstern was an admiral and explorer, who led the first Russian circumnavigation of the globe. He was accompanied on this voyage by Otto von Kozebue. Krusenstern was appointed by Tsar Alexander I to make a voyage to the East Coast of Asia. In honor of this mission, the Krusenstern room is the Asiatic room of the Manor. Decorated in a rich palate of slate gray, red and lime, this suite is a favorite of many guests.
